Böhm:
Biographical note
1951, 23 November, Harald Böhm was born in Freistadt (Austria)
1965-69. First artistic training, 1965-69 at the Art Institute
(sculpture department) of Hallstatt (Austria)
1969-70. During military service in Vienna, frequent visits to
Egyptian section of the Kunsthistorisches Museum develop and confirm
his passion for sculpture.
1970-71. Enrolled in and attended the Meisterklasse at the
Art School of Linz, directed bei Walter Ritter.
1971. Decides to move to Venice, with the goal of meeting Alberto Viani.
Enrolled at the Università d'Arte (UIA), Venice,
1973-78. Studying at the Accademia di Belli Arti, Venice, and
receives a diploma for sculpture in 1978 under Alberto Viani.
Obtains a grant in 1979 from the Fondazione Bevilaqua La Masa, Venice.
1980- 90 
Working primarily on increasingly
monumental external
stone sculptures
Since 1991 he has also worked in pastel on
paper, china brush drawings ,
watercolours and
since 1994 primarly with oil paintings
